Summary
SYNLawn Toronto Artificial Grass is seeking a dependable Landscape Construction Crew Member to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in building quality outdoor spaces, and works well as part of a team to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
As a Crew Member, you will assist with the installation of landscape construction projects including hardscapes, artificial turf, planting, grading, and site preparation. Working alongside experienced crew members and crew leads, you will help ensure projects are completed to company standards while maintaining safe and organized job sites.
This is a multi-season role, with opportunities to support winter operations as required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with excavation, grading, and base preparation for turf and landscape installations
- Support installation of artificial grass, patios, walkways, and related outdoor features
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely
- Operate hand tools and small equipment as trained and directed
- Follow site plans and direction from the Crew Lead to complete work accurately
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites throughout each project
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including PPE and hazard awareness
- Assist with equipment care, daily checks, and proper storage at day’s end
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficiency and quality standards
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and support other crews as needed, including winter operations
Requirements
- 1–2+ years landscape construction experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong work ethic
considered). - Basic understanding of excavation, grading, and construction site practices preferred.
- Ability to safely operate common landscape tools and equipment.
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Clear communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract, preferred
Work Hours
- Seasonal hours based on operational needs and weather conditions.
